City of Centerville <br />Planning and Zoning Commission <br />October 1, 2024 <br /> <br />Conditions <br />¤ The driveway extension shall be no wider than the existing remnant driveway. <br />¤ The driveway extension shall be paved. <br />¤ Prior to installation, a driveway permit shall be obtained. <br />¤ If the home is remodeled in such a way as to eliminate the rear tuck-under garage, the driveway <br />shall be removed, and the variance shall expire. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Nelson, seconded by Commissioner Kalina to approve the <br />variance request with the findings of fact and conditions noted in the <br />staff memo. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />2. Amendments to City Code, Chapter 156, Zoning Code 156.051 (Mixed Use District, <br />(M-1) & 156.052, Mixed Use District (M-2) and Downtown Master Plan and <br />Development Guidelines. <br />IV. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />1. September 3, 2024, Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting Minutes <br />Administrator Statz introduced this item as presented in the packet. There were not any revisions. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Olson, seconded by Commissioner Kalina to approve the <br />September 3, 2024, minutes. All in favor. Motion carried. <br />IV. ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES <br />1. Council Member Russ Koski <br />Council Member Koski reported that the council set the budget at their last meeting, noting the <br />increase in public safety, as well as lost revenue sources. Council member Koski also noted that <br />cost share is being spread out due to commercial taxes coming online. <br />AdministratorÓs Report <br />Administrator Statz reviewed the report as presented in the packet, and he added that the public <br />comment period is open for the Metropolitan CouncilÓs Imagine 2050 Plan, the planning <br />document that guides cities comprehensive plans in the metro area. <br />V.
