Followed by Minnesota Department of Agriculture's (MDA) Mark <br /> Abrahamson giving an in-depth look at the increase in wood waste across Minnesota <br /> and some of the potential challenges going forward. A <br /> local Department of Natural Resources forester noticed woodpecker damage on <br /> several ash trees in Janesville and alerted the MDA. MDA staff were able to find live <br /> EAB larvae and collect samples. Federal identification confirmed emerald ash borer. <br /> 2 <br />
