CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />REQUEST FOR <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br />Agenda Item # Department: Requested Council Meeting Date: <br />December 5, 2024 <br />Public Works <br />VII.4 <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />Grant Agreement - State of MN - Solar on Public Buildings <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />The city was awarded a grant to fund solar panels on City Hall and the Fire Station. The agreement outlining <br />the particulars of this grant is attached for your review and comment. <br />Staff is recommending approval of the grant agreement. <br />Once the grant agreement is executed, the contractor can begin work on the project. <br />COST AND SOURCE(S) OF FUNDING: <br />Agreement accepts $70,500 in grant funds.
