April 9, 2025 <br />DDA HR will notify candidates not selected as finalists. <br />Includes: <br />■ Criminal background: county, state, national <br />Background check of all Sex offender registry April 28, 2025 <br />finalists ■ Social Security number verification <br />■ Education verification <br />■ Credit check <br />DDA HR will conduct reference checks with current and/or former <br />employers on all finalists assessing each candidate's: <br />■ Role and responsibilities <br />Reference check on all Performance and strengths <br />finalists Leadership and management style April 28, 2025 <br />■ Communication and interpersonal skills <br />■ Community engagement <br />■ Areas for improvement <br />■ Overall fit with organization <br />DDA HR will administer an intellect profile measuring verbal reasoning, <br />Intellect profile mathematical and logical reasoning, and overall mental aptitude. April 28, 2025 <br />DDA HR will provide the Council information including: <br />■ Summary of references <br />Finalist packet Results of background checks April 29, 2025 <br />Intellect Profile and Work Personality Index Select reports <br />■ Video interview <br />■ Resumes, etc. <br />DDA HR will prepare all interview materials and be present at all May 6, 2025 <br />Interviews interviews and other functions to assist in facilitation. It is recommended Special Meeting <br />that Council interviews be at a special meeting. <br />Decision City Council will select candidate for offer.
