THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />ORDINANCE NO. 138, SECOND SERIES <br />AN ORDINANCE REZONING <br />LOT 4, AUDITOR'S SUBDIVISION NUMBER 48, REVISED. <br />WHEREAS: The landowner authorized an application for rezoning the Subject Parcel. This parcel <br />is currently regulated for zoning pursuant to Code Section 156.052, the Mixed -Use Neighborhood <br />(M-2). The application requests rezoning pursuant to Code Section 156.050 for use as <br />Public/Institutional District (P-1). <br />WHEREAS: On November 8, 2024, City Staff published a memorandum regarding Application <br />for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment and Rezoning 1687 Westview Street (LaLonde Property). <br />In this memorandum, Staff recommended requested rezoning and amending the City <br />Comprehensive Plan to accommodate this request. <br />WHEREAS: On November 12, 2024, the Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing <br />on the application of the landowner requesting the action herein; and did recommend that the City <br />Council grant the application of the landowner and amending the City Comprehensive Plan to <br />accommodate this recommendation. <br />The City Council of the City of Centerville hereby ordains: <br />Section 1. Pursuant to City Code Chapter 156, the City's zoning ordinance, is hereby amended <br />by rezoning this Subject Parcel, legally described as. Lot 4, Auditor's Subdivision Number <br />48 Revised, being a part of the NW1/4 of Section 23, Township 31, Range 22, Centerville, <br />Anoka County, Minnesota. <br />Section 2. Henceforth, this parcel is regulated for zoning pursuant to Code Section 156.050, <br />Public/Institutional District (P-1). <br />Section 3. The action herein is conditioned upon a conforming amendment to the City <br />Comprehensive Plan, as adopted under a separate Resolution of the City Council. <br />Section 4. The Zoning Map of the City of Centerville referred to and described in City Code <br />Chapter 156 shall not be republished to show the aforesaid rezoning, but the City <br />Administrator or the City Administrator's designee shall appropriately mark the Zoning <br />Map on file in the City Administrator's office for the purpose of indicating the rezoning <br />provided for in this ordinance and all of the notations, references, and other information <br />shown thereon are hereby incorporated by reference and made a part of this ordinance. <br />
