Topics included: <br />essentials dealing with administration like duties and powers of code officials, construction <br />documents, board of appeals and other administration activity; as well as compliance methods. <br />Implementation of the International Residential Code was also covered. <br /> <br />Advocacy Work <br /> Administrator Statz has continued conversations with the League of MN Cities, other City <br />Administrators and State Senator Gustafson to craft alternate legislation in an effort to find more <br />effective and less disruptive ways of solving the housing shortage. These efforts are in response to <br />the ÐMissing MiddleÑ housing bill and other bills of similar nature that were introduced last year, <br />with an aim at eliminating most city zoning control over multi-family housing. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
