Nfnp <br />To:Athanasia Lewis, Interim AdministratorFrom:Kellie Schlegel, City Engineer <br />City of Centerville <br />Project/File:193807381 - 2025 Thin Overlay StreetDate:February 20, 2025 <br />Improvements <br />Reference: 2025 Thin Overlay Street Improvements - Authorization of Plans and Specifications <br />On February 12, 2025, the City Council approved a resolution accepting the feasibility report for the 2025 <br />Thin Overlay Street Improvements and setting the Public Improvement Hearing for March 26, 2025. <br />In conformance with MN Statute Chapter 429 requirements for projects levying special assessments for <br />improvement projects, the Council must also pass a resolution ordering the improvements and authorizing <br />the preparation of plans and specifications. This action can be done in conjunction with accepting the <br />feasibility report and ordering the public improvement hearing, or as a separate resolution. We are <br />requesting that the Council pass a resolution ordering the 2025 Thin Overlay project and authorizing <br />Stantec to prepare the plans and specifications. <br />The plans and specifications will be prepared under StantecÓs proposal for engineering services that was <br />authorized by the City Council on January 22, 2025. <br />This resolution has no impact on the project scope, schedule, or estimated costs.
