City of Centerville <br />Planning and Zoning Commission <br />March 4, 2025 <br /> <br /> <br />VII. NEW BUSINESS <br />1. None <br /> <br />VIII. APPROVAL OF MIN UTES <br />1. February 4, 2025, 2025, Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting Minutes <br />Interim Administrator Lewis introduced this item as presented, noting that there was in inquiring <br />about the amendments to the Downtown Master Plan and City Code. While the motion reflects the <br />need for both the Downtown Master Plan and City Code to be amended, there was a request to add <br />a sentence to the minutes clarifying this need. The revised minutes reflect this change. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Nelson, seconded by Commissioner Seppala to approve the <br />February 4, 2025, Planning and Zoning Commission minutes as revised. All in Favor. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />IX. ANNOUNCEMENTS/UPDATES <br />1. Council Member Liaison <br />Council member Kubat is filling in for Council Member Koski. Council member Kubat thanked the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission for their hard work on the Downtown Master Plan revisions. He <br />reported that the City Council tabled their discussion on the revisions to request further review of <br />the parking and density requirements. Council member Kubat noted that parking standards in the <br />Downtown Master Plan are based on a per bedroom basis, whereas the city code basis parking on <br />units (2:1). <br /> <br />2. Administrator’s Report <br />Interim City Administrator Lewis reviewed the report as presented in the packet. <br /> <br />X. ADJOURNMENT <br />Motion by Commissioner Olson, seconded by Commissioner Seppala to adjourn the meeting <br />at 8:22 p.m. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Page 3 of 3 <br />
