CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />WORK SESSION & COUNCIL MEETING <br />March 26, 2025 <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their Special Meeting Work Session <br />prior to their Scheduled Council Meeting of March 26, 2025, commencing at 5:00 p.m. The Council held <br />their regular City Council Meeting at 6:30 p.m., in Council Chambers and was live streamed by North <br />Metro TV. <br /> <br />WORK SESSION (5:00 PM) <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Golden called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. <br />1. Roll Call <br /> <br />PRESENT: Mayor Nancy Golden <br />Council Member Russ Koski <br />Not Approved <br />Council Member David Kubat <br />Council Member Darrin Mosher (Via Zoom) <br />Council Member Anita Rios <br />Junior Council Member Sophia Wynn (Non-Voting) <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />STAFF: Interim City Administrator, Athanasia Lewis <br /> City Attorney, Kurt Glaser <br /> <br />II. DISCUSSION ITEMS <br /> <br />1. Legislative Priorities Î LGA, Public Safety Funding & Zoning Reform Bills <br /> <br />Interim City Administrator Lewis reviewed the information contained in CouncilÓs packet. She <br />reviewed the letters that were included in the packet stating that the Local Government Aid urged <br />state legislators to prioritize reform of the program protecting cities from financial instability and <br />the ability to continue to provide quality services. She stated that the public safety letter supported <br />new funding legislation for public safety to assist cities in covering costs associated with increasing <br />expensive public safety department. Interim City Administrator Lewis reviewed the letter <br />opposing the housing bills that prohibit local government control to Legislators, the Governor and <br />Lt. Governor. <br /> <br />2.Executive Search Update <br />a. Draft Job Description <br />b. Draft Salary Range <br />c. Draft Schedule <br /> <br />Interim City Administrator Lewis introduced Ms. Linda Woulfe, GMP Consultants. Ms. Woulfe <br />introduced herself to the Council and stated that several suggestions were made by the Personnel <br />Committee regarding the aforementioned items and that Council should consider the following: Minimum <br />5 <br /> <br />
