<br />AdministratorÓs Report <br /> <br />May 28, 2025 <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION <br />City offices will be closed on May 26, 2025, in observance of Memorial Day. <br /> <br />The city would like to honor and remember those who made the ultimate <br />sacrifice for our freedom. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Accepting Applications <br />The city will begin accepting applications May 12, 2025, to fill an upcoming <br />vacancy on the City Council. This vacancy would complete the term of <br />Council Member Mosher and would end in January 2027. Applications can <br />be submitted in person at City Hall, or via email to Interim Administrator <br />Lewis at: alewis@centervillemn.com. Click here for an application. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />PARKS & RECREATION <br />Parks & Recreation Proposals <br />Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park Play Structure Equipment <br />Mr. Jon Gilbertson, MWP Recreation, will be at the councilÓs upcoming meeting to provide a presentation <br />along with committee Chairperson Errickson-Grahek. <br /> <br />Disc Golf Course <br />A recommendation for approval of expending up to $10,000 of Park Dedication Fees for the installation of <br />the course at Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park at the councilÓs upcoming meeting. Chairperson Errickson- <br />Grahek will be on hand to answer any questions. <br /> <br />Annual Fete des Lacs Logo Contest Winners <br />Mayor Golden presented the Centerville Elementary Logo Contest winners with their Certificates and a <br />Redeemable Coupon for their corresponding prize winnings on May 16 and Chairperson Errickson-Grahek <br />and the Mayor Golden will both present the Centennial Middle Logo Contest winners with their Certificates <br />and Coupons February 23, 2025. <br /> <br />The committee thanks the participants, the mayor, the teachers and administrative staff from both schools <br />for their diligent work on this project.
