Planning & Zoning <br />At the June 3, 2025, P&Z meeting, the Commission tabled a previous public hearing to receive input on <br />amendments to the zoning ordinance. The intent of the proposed revisions is to clarify existing definitions <br />related to yard(s), setbacks, accessory structures in residential areas. There will also be two public hearings <br />for variance requests: 7239 Main Street Î request for placement of deck post within the City drainage/utility <br />easement and 7064 Centerville Road Î request for construction of a detached garage in the front yard, less <br />than 6Ó from the principle structure and to retain the existing accessory structure on the parcel as the 2% or <br />200 square feet maximum would be exceeded.
