<br />AdministratorÓs Report <br /> <br />June 11, 2025 <br />ADMINISTRATION <br />Accepting Applications <br />The city will begin accepting applications May 12, 2025, to fill an upcoming <br />vacancy on the City Council. This vacancy would complete the term of <br />Council Member Mosher and would end in January 2027. Applications can <br />be submitted in person at City Hall, or via email to Interim Administrator <br />Lewis at: alewis@centervillemn.com. Click here for an application. <br /> <br />PARKS & RECREATION <br />Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park Play Structure Equipment <br /> <br />th <br />At their May 28 meeting, the City <br />Council authorized staff to enter <br />into an agreement with MWP <br />Recreation for the purchase and <br />installation of a new playground <br />structure at Laurie LaMotte Park. <br />The Committee would like to thank <br />all of those involved with <br />completing the reviewing process <br />and preparation for CouncilÓs <br />consideration. Installation will be <br />complete by the end of the summer. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Disc Golf Course <br />th <br />At their May 28 meeting, City Council approved the purchase of equipment for a disc golf course at Laurie <br />LaMotte Memorial Park. Most of the installation will be done by the cityÓs public works department this <br />summer. We are excited about this new park amenity and would like to thank our Parks and Recreation <br />Committee and Public Works Department for seeing this project <br />through. <br /> <br />Pickleball Courts <br />At their meeting on June 4, 2025, the Parks and Recreation Committee <br />motioned unanimously to recommend to City Council the approval of <br />the purchase of three nets and stripping of three courts within the Laurie <br />LaMotte Memorial Park hockey rink in an amount not to exceed <br />$10,000. <br /> <br />196 <br /> <br />
