A downhole video camera will assess the current condition of the well. <br />D.Contractor to take bacteria sample before well goes back in service. <br />Task 2: Construction and Start Up Services. <br />Stantec will provide support during construction and startup of Well 1 following the rehabilitation. Work to be <br />included in this task is listed belowto restore this well to emergency operation as soon as possible. The <br />existing pump will be repaired and re-installed as soon as possible. <br />1.Stantec willas the CityÓs representative for all communications, reviews and approvals with the <br />Contractor. <br />2.Review modifications reasonably within the scope of a well rehabilitation project. <br />3.Inspect dismantled well pumpand column at ContractorÓs shop and prepare recommendations on <br />repair or replacement. <br />4.After motor is inspected at the motor repair shop make recommendation for repair or replacement. <br />5.Observation of work done at the facilities. <br />a.Televising. <br />b.Sand removal. <br />c.Start up. <br />6.Review shop drawings. <br />7.Prepare payment requests. <br />8.Prepare any required change orders. <br />9.Review operation and maintenance manuals. <br />10.Observe pump performance test at start up at site. <br />11.Furnish updated information and record plans. <br />NEXT STEPS: <br />After the new well capacity is determined, the city will be consulted as to returning this well from an <br />emergency-use designation to a primary water supply well designation.
