The code <br />currently states the following definitions, as well as the requirements for required yards below. The <br />proposed changes as discussed previously are included below in blue. These are also shown in Figure 1. <br /> <br />LOT LINE, FRONT. On an interior lot, the lot line abutting a street; on a corner lot, the lot lines abutting a <br />street; on a through lot, the lot line abutting the street providing the primary access to the lot; or, on a flag lot, <br />the interior lot line most parallel to and nearest the street from which access is obtained. <br /> <br />YARD SETBACK, FRONT. A yard extending across the full width of the front lot between side lot lines and <br />extending from the front property line to the depth required in the yard regulations of the district in which the <br />lot is located. On a corner lot, both street frontages shall be considered the front. The area extending along the <br />full length of a front lot line between side lot lines and to the depth required in the setback regulations for the <br />district in which it is located. <br /> <br />Lots which abut on more than one street shall provide the required front yards setbacks along each street <br />for the principal structure and for any accessory building; <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Figure 1: Current lot line and setback requirements (setbacks are not drawn to scale). <br /> <br />4 <br /> <br />
