City of Centerville <br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />June 11, 2025 <br /> <br />and expenditure types, special revenue fund balance (cable t.v.), capital project balances, debt service, <br />water, sewer and storm water funds, and garbage and recycling funds. He also reviewed the total cash <br />and investment balances by fund types, expenditures, taxes and debt. Mr. See stated that the audit was a <br />clean audit with no finding. <br /> <br />Mr. See answered council questions as posed. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Golden, seconded by Council Member Koski to Approve the 2024 Audit as <br />submitted. Roll-Call: Council Members Koski, Mosher, Rios and Mayor Golden. Motion carried. <br />2.Pickleball Courts Î Chair Heidi Errickson-Grahek <br /> <br />Ms. Errickson-Grahek stated that the Committee has been approached by numerous residents to add <br />additional pickleball courts. She stated that they have come up with a plan that is cost effective and have <br />reviewed options with the Public Works staff. She stated that the Committee determined that the best <br />location for installation of three courts on the north side of the existing basketball court located within the <br />hockey rink at Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park. She stated that the committee considered pickleball mats <br />and determined that they were costly and would need to be moved indoors annually to retain their life <br />cycle. The committee determined stripping of the courts could be achieved relatively inexpensively <br />($3,000) and three nets would cost approximately $5,400. She reported that the nets were removeable for <br />special events (Fete des Lacs, etc.) and the winter. <br /> <br />Chair Errickson-Grahek answered council questions as posed. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Golden seconded by Council Member Rios to approve the purchase of three <br />pickleball nets and striping in the Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park hockey rink not to exceed $10,000 <br />as presented. Roll-Call: Council Members Koski, Mosher, Rios and Mayor Golden. Motion carried. <br /> <br />As this item was on the Consent Agenda as Item #4, it was removed. <br /> <br />V.PUBLIC HEARING <br /> <br />1.None. <br />VI.
