The city also wants <br />to recognize victims and survivors. If you or someone you know is suffering <br />from domestic violence, please contact Alexandra House at their 24-Hour <br />Helpline: 763-780-2330. They provide round-the-clock services, advocacy and shelter for all victims of <br />violence. They now accept pets if you need their services. If you are looking to volunteer to assist them in <br />their vision, please contact them. There are many ways to volunteer/support them: you can donate time or <br />purchase a gift card, contribute goods, assist in their kitchen, lend a hand in helping around the building or <br />become a hospital/shelter advocate or childcare provider. Alexandra House also offers internships to college <br />students pursuing degrees in social work, human services, criminal justice, or other related fields. <br /> <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT <br />Development Inquiries <br /> One <br /> <br />PLANNING & ZONING <br />At the September 2, 2025, P&Z meeting, the Commission reviewed four concept plans for Block 7 and one <br />st <br />Rezone, Comprehensive Plan Amendment request for 7181-21 Avenue North (PID 24-31-22-22-0223). The <br />request was to rezone the property from B-2 (Main Street Commercial) to R-3 (High Density, Multi-Family, <br />Residential). The public hearing for the Rezone and Comprehensive Plan Amendment was held at City Hall <br />nd <br />at the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting on September 2 at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The Commission recommended that the council approve the rezoning request. The four concept plans for <br />Block 7 will be presented to the City Council at their September 10, 2025, meeting. <br /> <br />The Commission also received Commissioner NelsonÓs resignation and declared a board vacancy.
