PARKS & RECREATION <br />Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park <br />Play Structure <br />Installation is currently underway, and <br />we ask that you refrain from visiting <br />the site or utilizing any equipment until <br />installation is complete. Upon <br />completion we will have an Opening <br />CeremonyÎ so stay tuned. <br /> <br />Hydration Station <br />The new hydration <br />station has been <br />installed, and water is <br />accessible: bottle filler, <br />drinking fountain & <br />dog bowl. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Disc Golf/Pickleball Courts - 3 <br />Signage is currently being worked on for the disc golf course and they are anticipated to be <br />installed within the next week or so. We anticipate that the Pickleball Courts will be stripped <br />this Friday, within the hockey rink at LaMotte Park, and the nets will be set the following <br />week. The Parks and Recreation Committee discussed the dates for a Grand <br />Opening for the disc golf course (Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 2-4 <br />p.m.). With the recent news of the pickleball courts being ready by then, <br />they will include the disc golf/pickleball courts at the Grand Opening. Please <br />come out for some fun, participate in a disc golf demonstration led by Centerville resident, <br />disc golf enthusiast, Shaun Conley, and take a chance at winning prizes. <br /> <br />th <br />4 Annual Trunk or Treat Event/Touch a Truck <br />The Committee is currently looking for businesses and residents who would like to decorate a vehicle or <br />have a table, etc. at the event. The Parks and <br />Recreation Committee is also providing advance notice so you can mark your calendars to join in the fun. <br />This event follows the Centennial Community Education 5K Halloween Hustle.
