City of Centerville <br />Park and Recreation Committee Meeting Minutes <br />November 3, 2024 <br /> <br />1. Staff Updates – Mark Statz, City Administrator <br /> <br />a. LaMotte Park Play Structure <br />Administrator Statz stated that he currently was completing a reverse RFP toobtain <br />quotes for inclusive structures and that he anticipated its completion in time for the <br />upcoming construction season. <br />b. Fiore Tree <br />Administrator Statz stated that the local vendor has been experiencing health issues <br />and that the EDA has offered support of enhancements (e.g. lighting, bark cutouts, <br />irrigation or sound. He clarified that they wish to assist in the project. <br />c. Administrator Statz stated that with the elections, council would have some new <br />members beginning in January along with a new liaison being appointed to the <br />committee. <br />2. Committee Member Updates –Chair Erickson-Grahek <br /> <br />a. Volunteer Appreciation <br />Chair Errickson-Grahek stated that there was a great turnout and a fun event. <br />b. Trunk or Treat <br />Chair Errickson-Grahek stated that this was another great event that was well <br />attended with the largest turnout so far. <br />c. Name a snowplow <br />Chair Errickson-Grahek explained that this program did not get started as <br />anticipated and a flier was being completed. <br /> <br />3. Council Liaison Updates – Mr. Terry Sweeney <br />No updates were given. <br /> <br />VIII.
