111 <br />APPROACH & METHODOLOGY <br />Work Plan Assumptions <br />Providing assumptions helps the entire team (client and consultant) fully understand each <br />qvjgtҀu"gzrgevcvkqpu"hqt"vjg"rtqlgev0"Vjg"hqnnqykpi"qwvnkpgu"qwt"yqtm"rncp"cuuworvkqpu<" <br />1) The City will assign a Project Officer before or at project kickoff to serve as the main <br />contact, coordinating communication between the City, stakeholders, and MGT. <br />2) All project phases will include input from the Project Officer and key City stakeholders. <br />MGT views this work as a partnership, and the insights provided by stakeholders are <br />essential to ensuring outcomes align with"vjg"Ekv{Ҁu"okuukqp."xkukqp."cpf"iqcnu0" <br />3) MGT will need reasonable cooperation and participation by staff and management and <br />timely access to City data. Delays in receiving data or input during the study may result <br />in time extensions to the original project schedule. <br />4) MGT will request employee/job data in a standard Excel format. To stay on schedule, the <br />Ekv{"ujqwnf"rtqxkfg"c"wucdng"fcvcdcug"ykvjkp"cdqwv"vyq"yggmu0"OIVҀu"kpkvkcn"yqtm" <br />depends on receiving this data and will promptly notify the City if the file doesn't meet <br />specifications. All employee data provided will be assumed accurate and valid. <br />5) Requests to add benchmark jobs or comparable agencies beyond the original scope will <br />require a change order and contract amendment to reflect additional costs. These <br />requests should be submitted by the City Project Officer to the MGT Project Manager for <br />review and approval before inclusion in the analysis. <br />6) Kh"vjg"Ekv{"rtghgtu"hqt"OIV"vq"wvknk|g"cffkvkqpcn"uqwtegu"qh"ucnct{"fcvc"qvjgt"vjcp"OIVҀu" <br />Custom Market Survey (e.g., a subscriber service, or regional salary survey), the City will <br />hceknkvcvg"OIVҀu"ceeguu"cpf"cuuwog"cp{"cuuqekcvgf"equvu0"" <br />7) MGT will develop and provide up to two Draft Reports for review and feedback by the <br />Ekv{Ҁu"Rtqlgev"Qhhkegt"cpf"qvjgt"mg{"uvchh"dghqtg"rtgrctkpi"vjg"Hkpcn"Tgrqtvu0"Hkpcn"tgrqtvu" <br />are assumed to be final if we do not hear from the City within three weeks of final report <br />delivery. <br />8) This proposal includes two presentations of the final recommendations. Additional <br />presentations can be provided upon request for an added fee. <br />The entire study process is transparent, and all data collection instruments, methodology, and <br />final outcomes will be documented in the Final Report in detail.
