CENTENNIAL FIRE DISTRICT <br />Beginning on January 1, 2026, Centerville with be contracting with Spring Lake Park-Blaine-Mounds View <br />(SBM) Fire Department for fire services. For more than three years, SBM has managed the Centennial Fire <br />District. We thank the Centennial Fire District members for many years of outstanding service. <br /> <br />PARKS & RECREATION <br />Grand Reopening of Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park <br />The Mayor, several Council Members, City Administrator and <br />Committee Members were present for a ribbon cutting <br />ceremony at Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park on Saturday, <br />October 25. The event featured give away raffle prizes, and <br />demonstrations for Disc Golf and Pickleball. Special thank you <br />to Mr. Shawn Conley and Mr. Mike McGinn for leading the <br />demonstrations. Santa leaves the Station at 6 p.m. To participate, have any non-perishable food and new, unwrapped <br />toys you would like to donate ready and, as Santa makes his way through your neighborhood, come out to <br />visit us and put your food and toys in the truck! Santa will have treats for the kids along the route. If you <br />wonÓt be available during the time Santa visits your neighborhood, simply leave your food donation by your <br />mailbox with a label that reads ÐSanta Parade DonationÑ and Santa will pick it up on his way. All donations <br />will go to the Hugo Community Food Shelf that serves residents of Hugo and Centerville. We look forward <br />to seeing you all along the parade route.
