City of Centerville <br />EDA Meeting Minutes <br />October 15, 2025 <br />Motion by Commissioner Swenson, seconded by Commissioner Rios to approve September <br />17, 2025, meeting minutes. Commissioners Swenson, Remillard, Rios, and Drilling in favor. <br />Commissioner Broussard abstained. Motion carried. <br />2.Communications <br />a.None <br />VI.PRESENTATION <br />1.None <br />VII.REPORTS <br />1.Partner Agency Reports <br />a.Anoka County Regional Economic Development (ACRED) <br />Executive Director Lewis noted that there was no report <br />2.Year to Date Financials <br />None. <br />3.Ongoing Programs <br />Executive Director Lewis reviewed the Ongoing Programs report as presented in the packet. <br />4.AdministratorÓs Report <br />Executive Director Lewis reviewed the AdministratorÓs Report as presented in the packet. <br />VIII.OLD BUSINESS <br />1.Business Appreciation Event <br />Executive Director Lewis introduced this item as presented in the packet. The EDA finalized their <br />plans for the event. Executive Director Lewis will review EDA programs at the event. <br />IX.NEW BUSINESS <br />1.Holiday Wreaths & Lights <br />Executive Director Lewis introduced this item as presented in the packet. Discussion ensued about <br />the holiday lights and the purchase of wreaths. There are only five wreaths with working lights, <br />and the EDA discussed purchasing twenty-one new ones. Discussion ensued about spending <br />~$2,200 on lights for the tree, $2,000 for the wreaths and $1,300 to rent the equipment to install <br />the wreaths; the EDA not to exceed $5,500 for the decorations. <br />Ћ <br />5 <br /> <br />
