City of Centerville <br />Open House, City Council& Closed Exec. Session Meeting Minutes <br />August 13, 2025 <br />d.Golden – <br />(i)Centennial Lakes Police Department Governing Board –Mayor Golden thanked <br />Council Member Kubat for his attendance in her place as her schedule did not allow for <br />participation. <br />(i)North Metro Telecommunications Commission – Mayor Golden gave no report. <br />(ii)Other Mayoral Reports –She stated that she was able to attend three Night to Unite <br />gatherings. She reported that Kelly’s recently held a benefit event and thanked numerous <br />Lion Members for their assistance. She reminded the audience that the last Main Street <br />Market was Kids Night on August 21, 2025,and that she hoped participation would be <br />large. <br />e.Jr. Council Member Wynn – Jr. Council Member Wynnstated that most sports started during <br />the week with the school being extremely busy even through school does not start until September. <br />She reported that during the summer there were numerous projects completed at the school. <br />f.Attorney Glaser – Attorney Glaserstated that residents could request that the Centennial Lakes <br />Police Department place the speed trailer in their neighborhood if there were speed concerns and <br />that they should contact the department for scheduling. <br />XI.RECESS TO CLOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />The mayor read the following prior to closure –“The City Council will meet in closed session pursuant <br />to Minnesota Statutes, Section 13D.05, subdivision 3(c) to develop or consider offers or counteroffers <br />related to the potential transfer of real and personal property in connection with proposals for fire services. <br />The closed session will also address labor negotiation strategy related to fire services pursuant to <br />Minnesota Statutes, Section 13D.03, subdivision 1(b).” <br />Motion byMayor Golden, seconded by Council Member Koskito Recess to Closed Executive <br />Session at 7:08 p.m. All in favor.
