City of Centerville <br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />September 24, 2025 <br />Motion by Council Member Kubat, seconded by Council Member Broussard Vickers to Approve <br />Resolution #25-028 Î A Resolution Authorizing Appointments for 2025 with Council Member <br />Broussard Vickers take the place of Council Member Mosher. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />2. Resolution #25-0XX Î Setting the 2025 Preliminary Budget and General Fund Levy <br />Finance Director DeJong stated that the council has reviewed the 2025 General Fund budget, tax levy, <br />and debt service levy for 2025, at several work session meetings over the summer. <br />It was stated that recommended that council adopt the resolution as presented. <br />Motion by Mayor Golden seconded by Council Member Koski to Approve Resolution 25-029 Î <br />Adopting a Preliminary Budget and Levies for 2026. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />X. COUNCIL/ADMINISTRATOR ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> <br />Administrator Report Î Administrator Lewis stated that the report was contained in councilÓs <br />packet for review and she was available to answer questions. <br /> <br />1. Council Reports <br /> <br />a. Kubat Î <br />(i) Parks & Recreation Committee Î Council Member Kubat stated that the inclusive play <br />structure at Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park should be completed by the end of Summer, <br />2026 and that a resident appeared before the committee requesting a Remote-Control <br />racetrack. <br /> <br />(ii) Centennial Fire District Committee Î Council Member Kubat stated that the district <br />currently hiring for Paid On-Call positions. <br /> <br />b. Koski - <br /> (i) Planning & Zoning Commission Î Council Member Koski gave no update. <br /> <br />(ii) Centennial Fire District Steering Committee Î Council Member Koski gave no update. <br /> <br />(iii) Anoka County Fire Protection Council Î Council Member Koski gave no update. <br /> <br />c. Rios - <br />(i) Economic Development Authority Î Council Member Rios stated that the EDA met on <br />September 17 and started planning the Business Appreciation Event which would be <br />scheduled for late October, early November. <br /> <br />d. Broussard Vickers Î <br />(i) <br /> <br />e.
