CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />REQUEST FOR <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br />Agenda Item # Department: Requested Council Meeting Date: <br />March 26, 2026 <br />Administration <br />VI. <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />Rainbow Treecare - Emerald Ash Borer Treatment is Chosen & Preferred Vendor for Residential Treatment <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />For four years, the City has entered into contracts with Rainbow Treecare for treatment of city trees (parks and public <br />land) if deemed appropriate. Rainbow Treecare has also offered reduced rates to residents to treat theirprivatelyowned <br />trees. <br />On a biennial basis the P.W. Director determines whether to continue treatmentofpreviously treated trees or to add new <br />trees to be treated.
