CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />REQUEST FOR <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br />Agenda Item # Department: Requested Council Meeting Date: <br />April 16, 2026 <br />Public Works <br />VI.5 <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />2026 Porta Pot Agreement <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />Staff has obtained two quotes for portable toilets for the 2026 portable toilet season. LRS company has the low <br />estimate for rental and cleaning services for park portable toilet services. In 2025, the cost for portable toilets <br />cleaning and rentals was approximately $11,300, and in 2024 was approximately $12,000. There are a total of <br />six total handicap toilets in the city's system. LRS is willing to keep the cost for 2026's cleanings the same as <br />the cost in 2025, which was $135 per cleaning. Services include one cleaning of each toilet once a week unless <br />there are reasons to reclean the fixture a second time. LaMotte and Cornerstone Park have portable toilets year <br />round.
