CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />REQUEST FOR <br />COUNCIL ACTION <br />Agenda Item # Department: Requested Council Meeting Date: <br />April 16, 2026 <br />Administration <br />VI. <br />TITLE OF ISSUE: <br />Executive Leadership Development <br />BACKGROUND AND SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION: <br />The city's budget includes funding for leadership development opportunities. A provision in the administrator's <br />contract is annual attendance at the ICMA national conference. However, with the heavy workload and being <br />down one full-time employee, it has been difficult for the administrator to be away from the office. In lieu of <br />attendance at this year's conference, the administrator is requesting that council approve executive coaching <br />with Dave Webb from Homerun Leadership for a twelve-month period.
