Job Evaluation Analysis and Establishment of a Classification Plan. Upon return of the <br />JAQs by the City, MGT performed the following: <br />Read each JAQ and the corresponding Job Description in its entirety. <br />Conducted virtual interviews with at least one (1) employee in each position <br />covered by the Study to further understand the scope of duties and <br />responsibilities of the position. <br />Applied a measurement system of Job Evaluation Factors to all positions, which <br />formed the basis for internal rankings (equity) of positions. <br />Upon completion of the Job Evaluation measurements, a new Classification Plan <br />was developed. <br />MarketSurvey <br />The following tasks were included in this component of the Study: <br />Tabulated, summarized, and analyzed comparative compensation information <br />obtained from the comparable communities. Prepared pay tabulations that <br />compared the salary ranges of the City of Centervilleto the salary ranges of its <br />ththth <br />comparable communities. Prepared comparison calculations at the 50, 60, 65, <br />th,th <br />75and 80percentiles. Displayed data for each communityand for each position, <br />and summarized the data in table form. <br />Based on discussions with the Cityand the gathered data, developed salary ranges <br />th <br />that would establish Centervilleas a payer at the 60percentile of the salary data <br />from the comparable communities. <br />Draft and Final Report Preparation <br />A preliminary analysis of the data and recommended Classification and <br />Compensation Plan was shared with the City.
