APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Mayor Golden provided an opportunity for staff and council to add or delete items. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member Broussard Vickers to Approve <br />the Set Agenda as Presented. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />IV. APPOINTMENTS & PRESENTATIONS <br /> <br />1. None. <br /> <br />V. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />1. SWPPP/MS4 <br /> <br />Ms. Kellie Schlegel, City Engineer, reviewed the presentation contained in council packet and stated that <br />the city is required as part of their Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System Permit to hold at least one <br />public event allowing input on the city’s Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Koski, seconded by Council Member Rios to open the Public Hearing. <br />All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Golden opened the public hearing at 6:42 p.m. <br /> <br />Mr. David Kubat, 1856 Partridge Lane, stated that some individuals have been placing organic waste in <br />the storm sewers and education was needed. <br /> <br />Mayor Golden stated that with the recent Emerald Ash Borer, diseased trees are being gradually removed <br />from residential properties. Public Works Director Lehn stated that staff is being proactive regarding <br />debris being removed from the city’s right-of-ways/easements. <br /> <br />Council Member Koski reminded residents that fertilizers placed on lawns makes its way to <br />river/stream/creek/lakes, etc. and to be mindful on products used. <br />Page 2 of 6 <br /> <br /> <br />
