City of Centerville <br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />March 12, 2026 <br /> <br />VII. OLD BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. None. <br /> <br />VIII. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />1. MDH Project Priority List for Drinking Water State Revolving Fund <br /> <br />Public Works Director Lehn stated that staff was requesting permission to submit applications and receive <br />funding from the Minnesota Department of Health’s Project Priority List for water infrastructure projects <br />that will require completion in Centerville’s future. <br /> <br />Discussion ensued regarding the meter system, wells #1 and #3, scheduling, priority order, and grant <br />availability. <br /> <br />Motion by Acting Mayor Koski, seconded by Council Member Rios to approve applying for and <br />receiving funding for three projects to be placed on the Minnesota Department of Health’s Project <br />Priority List, seeking future eligibility to obtain funding for Water Tower Rehabilitation, City Meter <br />Technology Software and Meter Program, and Well #3. Roll Call: Mayor Golden, Acting Mayor <br />Koski, Council Members Broussard Vickers and Rios in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />IX STAFF AND COUNCIL REPORTS <br /> <br />1. Administrator Report – Administrator Lewis stated that the report was contained in the packet <br />for the council’s review and that she would take questions. <br /> <br />2. Council Reports <br /> <br />a. Vacant <br /> <br />b. Koski – Council Member Koski stated that he had attended City Day on the Hill. <br /> (i) Planning & Zoning Commission – Council Member Koski stated that some of the <br />information discussed this evening was also discussed at the recent Planning & Zoning <br />Commission meeting. <br /> (ii) Centennial Fire District Steering Committee – Council Member Koski stated on <br />Tuesday, there was a legislative hearing on pensions and retirement. <br /> (iii) Anoka County Fire Protection Council – Council Member Koski gave no report. <br /> <br />c. Rios – Council Member Rios also stated that she had attended City Day on the Hill. She also <br />stated that she attended a Housing Workshop sponsored by Metro Cities. <br />(i) Economic Development Authority – Council Member Rios gave no report. <br />(ii) Parks and Recreation Committee – Council Member Rios gave no report. <br /> <br />d. Broussard Vickers <br /> (i) Park & Recreation Committee – Council Member Broussard Vickers attended the <br />meeting. They discussed the tree plan as to whether they should go with the bare root trees <br />vs the ball-burlap ones as previously desired and approved.
