CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> JULY 12, 2006 <br />6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Centerville held their regularly scheduled <br />meeting on July 12, 2006, at City Hall, 1880 Main Street. <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br />Mayor Mary Capra <br /> Council Member Lee <br /> Council Member Paar <br /> Council Member Terway <br /> Council Member Lakso <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br />None <br /> <br />STAFF: <br />City Engineer Statz <br /> City Attorney Glaser <br /> City Administrator Larson <br /> <br /> <br />I. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Capra called the July 12, 2006, City Council meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />II. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> <br />1. Consider Improvements to Old Mill Road (From a Point Approximately 200 Feet <br />North of Revoir to North City Limits <br /> <br />Mayor Capra opened the public hearing at 6:35 p.m. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson explained the proposal to extend services down Old Mill <br />Road. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra asked if there is cost information for this project. <br /> <br />City Engineer Statz indicated that a feasibility study was reviewed in June with a total <br />project cost of $325,000 and there is an alternate to not construct roadway at this time for <br />$180,000. He then explained the scope of the project. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra asked for the condition of the pavement. <br /> <br />City Engineer Statz indicated that it is in fair condition and could hold out for the five to <br />ten year range for the improvement. <br /> <br />Page 1 of 11 <br />
