City of Centerville <br />Planning & Zoning Meeting Minutes <br />August 1, 2006 <br />The Commissioners agreed by consensus that these signs should apply to only <br />homeowners’ associations. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hanzal asked if they had some signs on non-homeowners’ association <br />property. He asked what would happen to those signs. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wood responded he believed those were pre-existing signs and therefore <br />would be grandfathered in. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated they might want to limit the signs to locations where <br />there were collector streets. <br /> <br />The Commissioners agreed this should be limited. <br /> <br />Councilmember Terway asked if this could be part of the plat approval process as to the <br />location of the sign. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson responded this was a possibility. <br /> <br />Commissioner Wright stated they also had to ensure the signs were not placed in the site <br />triangle. <br /> <br />City Administrator Larson stated he would bring a draft back at the next meeting. <br /> <br />VII. CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br /> <br /> 1. July 11, 2006 Planning and Zoning Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />No changes were made to the July 11 2006 Planning and Zoning Meeting Minutes. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Love, seconded by Commissioner Pangell, to approve the <br />Minutes of July 11, 2006, as presented. Commissioner Wood and Chair Hanson <br />abstained. Motion carried. <br /> <br /> <br />VIII. ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Wood, seconded by Commissioner Love, to Adjourn the <br />August 1, 2006 Planning Commission Meeting at 7:28 p.m. All in favor.
