We will demolish the house and <br />garage per the request for bid to include: Removal and disposal of all wood, cement, cement blocks, <br />other building and household debris currently on site; basement walls shall be demolished to 2-feet <br />below grade and floor slabs shall be penetrated; adjoining sidewalks and driveways will be removed <br />and hauled away; borrow supplied by the City (located across the street from demolition site) will be <br />used to fill all basement excavations; six inches of topsoil will be installed to include seed at 150#/acre <br />and mulch at two-ton/acre placement on the entire disturbed area of the site. This proposal includes <br />contacting Center Point Energy and Xcel Energy to request the disconnection of the electrical and <br />natural gas utilities. If we are awarded this project we would immediately contact the utilities as stated <br />above; we cannot be responsible for any delays due to the schedule of the utility companies in meeting <br />the disconnect requests. If we are awarded this project we would submit a certificate of insurance in <br />compliance with the City of Centerville requirements; we would request receipt of a copy of the <br />completed hazardous waste removal report for our records. No bonds or permits included. No <br />dewatering included (none anticipated). The cost for this work is $15,744.98. <br /> <br />Any person or company supplying labor or materials for this improvement to your property may file a lien against <br />your property if that person or company is not paid for the contributions. Under Minnesota law, you have the right <br />to pay persons who supplied labor or materials for this improvement directly and deduct this amount from our <br />contract price, or withhold the amounts due from us until 120 days after completion of the improvement unless we <br />give you a lien waiver signed by persons who supplied the labor or material for the improvement and who gave you <br />timely notice.
