A copy of Fiscal Disparities Table IXa is included <br />which provides you with Tax Capacity Value, Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Captured Value, <br />Contribution Value, and the Local Taxable Value used to calculate your tax rate. Fiscal <br />Disparities Table X will provide your Distribution dollar amounts and the tax rate used for the <br />parcel specific notices. Also, the Pay 2007 Truth-in- Taxation tax rate sheet will provide you with <br />the combined rates that include county, city, school district, and special taxing districts. <br /> <br />The parcel specific notices will be mailed after November 13,2006. Also, as part of the property <br />tax reform legislation, which was enacted in 2001, cities and counties with populations greater <br />than 2,500 are required to include in the annual publication of their "NOTICE OF PROPOSED <br />PROPERTY TAXES" an additional section called "LOCAL TAX RATE COMPARISON." If <br />your city qualifies, the publication needs to include the following three tax rates: <br /> <br />1. The current local tax rate: 50.486% <br />2. The proposed local tax rate ifno property tax levy increase is adopted: 43.049% <br />3.
