<br />City of Centerville <br />Council Meeting Minutes <br />November 29, 2006 <br /> <br />Lee commented that some change in salary rates would also be reflected. Mayor Capra <br />added that the City would have to abide by pay equity and State guidelines for salaries. <br /> <br />Mr. Laube inquired about the $407,500 addition to City Hall for 2008. Finance Director <br />Meyer responded that it was the anticipated sale of the old public works site for the <br />downtown development. <br /> <br />Mr. Laube reported that his property taxes had increased 100%. Finance Director Meyer <br />responded that the increase was likely associated with last year's school levy. Mayor <br />Capra added that the appropriate venue for discussion of property tax assessments would <br />be the County meetings scheduled in April. Finance Director Meyer said he would be <br />happy to supply tax capacity numbers if needed. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra thanked residents for their attendance and input. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Paar. seconded by Council Member Terway. to close <br />the Truth in Taxation public hearine: at 6:50 p.m. All in favor. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />III.
