HARLEY WELLS, MAYOR OF SPRING LAKE PARK, AS AN ELECTED <br />OFFICIAL AND NORTH METRO TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMMISSION <br />MEMBER <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Wells has served the community of Spring Lake Park in the capacity of <br />Council Member from 1985 to 1990; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Wells has served the community of Spring Lake Park in the capacity of <br />Mayor from 1990 to the present; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Wells was appointed in 1988 to the present time to represent the City <br />of Spring Lake Park on the North Metro Telecommunications Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Wells' warmth, wisdom, humor, proven leadership skills and <br />knowledge; has earned him respect of other elected officials, Staff and colleagues; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Wells is a man who has the strength to hold an unpopular opinion and <br />the courage to change his mind. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />CENTERVILLE, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1. Council extends their appreciation to Mr. Wells for his dedication and service <br />serving the community of Spring Lake Park and North Metro <br />Telecommunications Commission. <br />2.
