Pa:((651) 429-8629 <br /> <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />COUNIY OF ANOKA <br />CITY OF CENTERVILLE <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #06 - 055 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING PAY EQUITY STUDY REPORT AND IMPLEMENTING <br />PAY SYSTEM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has an obligation under State Law to maintain a pay system that provides <br />equity between groups of employees, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council approved job descriptions for all employees that may have changed the <br />job duties and requirements since the last Pay Equity study was completed, and <br /> <br />WHREEAS, the Council engaged the services of Ann Antoneson of Springsted, Inc. to complete <br />a new pay equity study and pay system that complies with State mandated requirements, and <br />such report was presented to the Council on October 25,2006. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF CENTERVILLE, <br />MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1. The Pay Equity Report dated October 25, 2006, prepared by Springsted, Inc. is <br />hereby adopted, including the pay grade & step system (pay System). <br />2. The existing pay system shall remain in place with 3% increase on January 1, <br />2007. <br />3. On July 1,2007, all employees shall move into new Pay System at the lowest pay <br />step of their designated pay grade that is equal to or above their current pay rate. <br />4. Since the Report was based upon 2006 rates, the Pay System shall be incremented <br />by 3% for 2007. <br />5. Step increases shall continue to occur on the employee's anniversary dates. <br />6.
