As we <br />discussed on the phone,' Local 49's understanding was not to make any changes to the <br />holiday on-call language in Article XXI, section 21.2. Therefore, the additional holiday <br />compensation would be paid on the actual holiday and not the "observed holiday" as <br />referenced in the city's proposal. You indicated on the phone that this change was <br />acceptable to the City and thus the accepted contract changes will be in 'effect from <br />January 1, 2007 through December 31, 2009. <br /> <br />Local 49 and its members in Centerville appreciate your cooperation in reaching a fair <br />settlement in a timely manner.
