(Bonestroo) has prepared this proposaHor the' <br />preparation of an Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EA W) for the proposed CenterviIle Downtown <br />Redevelopment Project in Centerville, Minnesota. The Responsible Governmental Unit (RGU) for the <br />project is the City of Centerville. . . <br /> <br />The boundaries of the redevelopment area are generally 6ne-halfblock west of CentervilleRoadon the <br />west, one-half block east of Progress Road on the east, one-half block southofWestview Street on the <br />north, and one~halfblock south of Heritage Streetonthe south. The currently proposed redevelopment <br />project involves the demolition of existing structures andconstruction of362 residential units (multi-, <br />family), 68,000 square feet ofretail space, parking facilities, roadway improvements, trails and open <br />space areas, utilities, and stormwater management facilities. The number of multi-family residential <br />units proposed (362), combined with the 68,000 squarefeet of proposed retail space, triggers a mandatory <br />EA W under Minnesota Rules, Chapter 4410.4300 Subpart 32. <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />The general scope of work will be to collect and analyze information pertinent to the project and potential <br />environmental impacts, and to incorporate this information intotheEA W in accordance with the rules and. <br />intent oftheguidelines set forth by the Minnesota Environmental Quality Board (EQB). Our proposed <br />scope of work is divided into the tasks discussed below: <br /> <br />Task 1 : Define Project, Collect Information and Identify Areas of Concern <br /> <br />Information submitted for the EA W must specifically describe the proposed project and predict the <br />project's environmental impacts. The scope' of this task is to collect all relevant information, including <br />design plans, engineering plans and reports, and all potential variations of the project that can be <br />reasonably expected. <br /> <br />This task also involves collecting copies oflocalgovernment planningdocumeIitssuch as comprehensive <br />plans, zoning maps, watershed plans, information on loca} infrastructure {e. g., traffic, water, sewer), soils <br />maps, groundwater information, surface water featl,lres, historical and cultural resource information, and <br />unique local features information (e.g.,fish, wildlife, ecology,patks,trails). <br /> <br />St. Paul, St. Cloud, Rochester, MN - Milwau/<ee, WI- Chicago; IL <br /> <br />Affirmative.
