<br />19.2 Employees filling a higher job class based on the - <br />provisions of this ARTICLE shall be subject to the <br />conditions of ARTICLE XVII (PROBATIONARY PERIODS). <br /> <br />19.3 The EMPLOYER has the right of final decision in the <br />selection of employees to fill posted jobs based on <br />qualifications, abilities and experience. <br /> <br />19.4 Job vacancies within the designated bargaining unit will <br />be posted for five (5) working days so that members of <br />the bargaining unit can be considered for such vacancies. <br /> <br />ARTICLE XX. INSURANCE <br /> <br />20.1 Effective June 1, 1996: The EMPLOYER will contribute <br />up to a maximum of'" <br />($ ) per month per employee for group health <br />an~life insurance including dependent coverage (Family <br />Hospital and Medical Insurance). The maximum <br />contribution for single coverage will be <br />($ ) per month. <br /> <br />20.2 By mutual agreement, employees may use fifteen dollars <br />($15.00) of the per month per employee of health <br />insurance dollars in 20.1 above for dental insurance <br />for all unit employees. <br /> <br />20.3 Employees not choosing dependent coverage cannot be <br />covered at EMPLOYER expense for any additional insurance <br />than the individual group health and group life <br />insurance. Additional life insurance can be purchased <br />by employees at the employee's expense to the extent <br />allowed under the EMPLOYER'S group policy. <br /> <br />20.4 The EMPLOYER will contribute to a deferrred compensation <br />plan selected by the City, 95% of the lowest single <br />coverage at the next adjustment or what the employee is <br />currently receiving, whichever is greater, for those <br />employees who do not request health insurance. Evidence <br />of outside health insurance coverage shall be required <br />under this option. <br /> <br />ARTICLE XXI. HOLIDAYS <br /> <br />The EMPLOYER will provide twelve (12) paid holidays for the <br />calendar year 1996. The holidays will be designated as <br />follows: <br /> <br />New Year's Day <br />president's Day <br />Memorial Day <br />4th of July <br />Labor Day <br /> <br />Veteran I S Day <br />Thanksgiving Day <br />Day After Thanksgiving <br />Christmas Day <br />Three Floating Holidays* <br /> <br />*Floating holidays to be taken at the discretion of the EMPLOYEE <br />with the EMPLOYER'S consent. <br />10 <br />
