CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg called the September 12,2001, City Council meeting to order at 6:36 <br />p.m. <br /> <br />II. SET AGENDA <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg began the meeting by asking that residents fly the flag as a show of <br />solidarity for those that were affected by Tuesday's tragedy. He then asked that residents <br />pray for the loved ones of the victims. <br /> <br />Council, and those in attendance, observed a moment of silence followed by reciting the <br />pledge of allegiance. <br /> <br />Council Member Nelson requested approval of the Minutes from August 22,2001 of the <br />executive session be added under consideration of minutes. <br /> <br />Council Member Nelson requested that discussion of which employees should have keys <br />to City Hall be added under new business. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard Vickers noted that the variance requests listed under <br />appearances should have been listed under new business. <br /> <br />Page 1 of 29 <br />
