Also enclosed are the IC-134 Forms submitted by Penn Contracting. <br /> <br />This project has been satisfactorily completed according to the plans, specifications, and change <br />order number one. The original bid was $68,696.00. During the project, the forcemain for this lift <br />station failed again. It was determined that the forcemain should be replaced by directional drilling <br />anew 6" high-density polyethylene pipe. A quote was obtained from three contractors for this pipe <br />replacement and Penn Contracting was the low bidder. The cost of the forcemain replacement was <br />added to this project as a changeordet, with the revised contract amount at $127,448.00. The final <br />contract amount of$132,556.72 is based on final measured quantities for unit price items. <br /> <br />We recommend that the City accept this final pay request for Penn Contracting in the amount of <br />$8,500.29.
