Ms. Arnson stated that she would also forward this information to the
Committee.

Ms. Arnson also suggested that a free-lance consultant, who has been used by other
cities, could be utilized to design Council Chambers to its ultimate cable casting
arrangements.

Chair Brenner questioned whether the Committee desired to recommend any summer
events so the opportunities would not be missed. Committee Member Fairbrother stated
that he felt that this was one (1) of the areas where communications is lacking due to the
fact that each Committee/Commission is doing their own thing. Ms. Arnson explained
the reasoning behind her addressing this issue was because NMTC is also looking for
events to cover for news stories. Chair Brenner stated that NMTC should be contacted
first and coordinate scheduling of taping of the event(s). The program could be played on
Channel 15 and a duplicate tape could be provided to the City for playback on Channel
16. Mr. Klang stated that Centennial High School offers numerous incentives for
students for involvement in video production outside of the day-to-day school curriculum
and that NMTC has contacted them on many occasions. Mr. Klang stated that Mr. Peter
Crawford was Centennial High School's video production instructor. Consensus was that
the more video production coverage of school activities the more viewers there would be.
Mr. Tronson stated that typically, events such as Fete des Lacs, NMTC would compile
enough background and events to encompass an entire show.

Mr. Klang stated that what the City needed was to first have someone look over the
City's existing equipment to determine is current capabilities. Committee Member
Fairbrother questioned whether this was something the NMTC could provide. Ms.
Arnson concurred.

Page 3 of7
