It was felt that the participation in this
type of advertising/promoting would be more received by smaller, local
businesses. Committee Member Sweeney stated that it would be available on a
one (1) page, 8 12 x 11 sheet of paper that then would be sold for $5. Committee
Member Sweeney stated the Kelly's Komer had expressed an interest in
participating in same. It was brought to the Chair's attention that
Kids Dance had been booked for approximately two (2) hours on Saturday by a
resident. Committee Member Sweeney stated that the entire day had previously
been committed. Committee Member Sweeney stated that he would contact Ms.
Capra to ascertain whether a contract had be signed with Kids Dance and whether
they were available for an alternative day due to the already scheduled events that
would be taking place under the tent on Saturday that had been previously
contacted for. Chair DeVine suggested having karoke available Saturday evening
prior to the band. Chair DeVine stated that he had spoke with the woman who
operates the karoke at Kelly's Komer to ascertain availability, etc.

Committee Member Sweeney stated that the volunteer postcard/flyer would be
included in the mailing.

Mr. Cordel reviewed the submitted proposal from the Amateur Radio Operators to
provide radio communications for the parade and fireworks elevating the need for
walkie-talkies.
