(651) 429-8629 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CENTERVILLE, MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING COMPLIANCE WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL <br />RESOURCES OUTDOOR RECREATION PROJECT <br />AGREEMENT FOR ACORN CREEK PARK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has requested grant funding from the Minnesota Department of <br />Natural Resources ("DNR") for the improvement of Acorn Creek Park (PIN # 14-31-22-42- <br />0037); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the DNR has approved the City's request subject to certain conditions as to <br />the use and maintenance of Acorn Creek Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City acknowledges that receipt of said funding is subject to those <br />conditions. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Centerville <br /> <br />that: <br /> <br />1. In order to comply with the Department of Natural Resources Outdoor Recreation <br />Project Agreement, the City of Centerville does hereby impose the following <br />restrictions on the Acorn Creek Park property (PIN # 14-31-22-42-0037): <br /> <br />a. The property shall be managed and maintained for outdoor recreation <br />purposes consistent with the approved grant application. <br /> <br />b. The property may not be used for any other purposes without the express <br />prior written approval of the Commissioner of the Minnesota Department <br />of Natural Resources. <br /> <br />2.
