<br />June 27, 2001 Council Meeting Minutes <br /> <br />Motion bv Council Member Broussard-Vickers. seconded bv Council <br />Member Capra to table the June 27. 2001 Council meeting minutes as pages <br />11 and 12 were missing. All in favor. Motion carried. <br /> <br />VI. PETITIONS AND COMPLAINTS <br /> <br />Center Street Drainage - Mr. Keith Okan <br /> <br />Mr. Okan, 1841 Center Street, explained he has had major problems with <br />drainage in the spring in his back yard. He indicated his basement flooded this <br />spring along with his neighbor's basement. Mr. Okan noted his home is lower <br />than Eagle Park. He indicated he with several landscape designers to try to <br />remedy the drainage issues with no success. Mr. Okan asked for help from the <br />City on this issue. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra questioned if the Prairie Drive subdivision had the same <br />concerns. Mr. March noted the issues on Prairie Street was that the grade was too <br />flat in the back yards which was resolved with a four inch drain tile. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra asked if this item could be investigated with public works <br />and City staff. Mr. Peterson indicated he would look into these properties as well. <br />He noted the intersection of Dupre and Center Street would be having some work <br />done in the near future to assist in the drainage of storm sewer. <br /> <br />Council Member Capra questioned if there was storm sewer at these homes. Mr. <br />Peterson noted there was no storm sewer at this time. <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg advised staff to investigate these properties and report back to <br />the Council at their next meeting. <br /> <br />VII. OLD BUSINESS - None <br /> <br />VIII. NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Eagle Pass Second Addition <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard-Vickers asked for a summary of what action was <br />going to take place between now and the next meeting. Mayor Swedberg noted <br />the attorney would be reviewing the Developer's Agreement to make comment on <br />what items could be enforced. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard-Vickers noted she would like comments on reverting <br />the private street to a public street at the next meeting. She indicated comments <br />should be received from the police department, fire department, City Engineer <br />and City Attorney. <br /> <br />Council Member Broussard-Vickers indicated she would also like a report from <br />Paul on all ordinance violations within this development at this time.
