City of Centerville <br />City Council Meeting Minutes <br />November 29, 2006 <br /> <br />Mr. Laube inquired about the $407,500 Addition to City Hall for 2008. Finance Director <br />Meyer responded that it was the anticipated sales of a public worksite for the downtown <br />development. <br /> <br />Mr. Laube reported that his property taxes had increased 100%. Finance Director Meyer <br />responded that the increase was likely associated with last year’s school levy. Mayor <br />Capra added that the appropriate venue for discussion of property tax assessments would <br />be the County meetings scheduled in April. Finance Director Meyer said he would be <br />happy to supply tax capacity numbers if needed. <br /> <br />Mayor Capra thanked residents for their attendance and input. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Paar, seconded by Council Member Terway, to close <br />the Truth in Taxation public hearing at 6:50 p.m. All in favor.
