<br />MEMO <br /> <br />TO: Parks and Recreation Committee Members <br /> <br />FROM: Kim Stephan <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Committee Business & Updates <br /> <br />DATE: January 31, 2007 <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS <br /> <br />Chairperson / Vice-Chairperson of Parks & Recreation Committee for 2007 <br /> <br />The committee needs to appoint a Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson for 2007. <br /> <br />Replacing Skate Park Equipment <br /> <br />A memo and Rhino Ramp price list from Dan Wagner, Dura Fun, was emailed to the committee and <br />included in the packet. Dura Fun is the only distributor of Rhino Ramp equipment in Minnesota and <br />Wisconsin. City Administrator Larson requests the committee get an additional bid. <br /> <br />From a Summary of the City Council Meeting 2007-01-10: <br /> <br />. The Council approved on a 3-2 vote, the use of$17,383.12 by the Park Committee for Skate <br />Park Equipment. <br /> <br />Naming of Park at 1601 LaMotte Drive <br /> <br />The committee needs to decide on a name to recommend to City Council for the park at 1601 LaMotte <br />Drive. As plans progress we need to be able to call the park by name for such events as the <br />Sesquicentennial and Park Dedication Ceremonies. <br /> <br />Request from Centennial Lakes Little League for Use of Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park BalI <br />Fields for the 2007 Season <br /> <br />Included in the packet is a request from Centennial Little League for the use of the ball fields at Laurie <br />LaMotte Memorial Park for the 2007 season.
