<br />Outreach <br /> <br />Developing this area of our operation is the single, most important goal of the <br />year. The extent to which we are able to follow through with our plans will <br />depend upon decisions made regarding staffing. <br /> <br />Our outreach plans include: <br /> <br />.. Targeted open houses for groups such as teachers or senior citizen <br />clubs <br />- Taking field production classes to the schools <br />- Developing a sponsorship rate card <br />lll1> Selling sponsorship spots on sporting and news productions <br />.. Producing sponsorship spots <br />- Promoting and teaching advanced production courses <br />l!!lOl Upgrade website with more information/Flash technology <br />iIJiIlI Develop and maintain contacts with local newspapers and city <br />newsletters <br />., Submit articles and press releases to information outlets on a monthly <br />or quarterly basis. <br />l;I!!!; Give presentations at service club and organizational meetings <br />.. Publish workshop schedules in park and rec publications <br />- Produce video promos for staff productions <br />- Develop graphic promos for channel tags <br /> <br />In addition to these goals, we wish to continue producing a monthly newsletter, <br />informational flyers, and PR kits. The annual Volunteer Award Ceremony will <br />also remain an important part of our outreach plan. <br /> <br />Internship Expansion <br /> <br />Making wise use of interns is going to become more and more important to our <br />operation.
