<br />III <br /> <br /> <br />t" <br /> <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and Council Members <br /> <br />FROM: Teresa Bender <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Issuance of a Peddler/Solicitor's License for Infinity Advertising <br /> <br />DATE: June 13,2001 <br /> <br />The attached application was forwarded to Centennial Lakes Police Chief, Joel Heckman. <br />Upon Chief Heckman's background check of the individuals that provided Valid Driver's <br />Licenses, Chief Heckman's recommendation is as follows: <br /> <br />Chief Heckman recommended approval of the Peddler/Solicitor's License for Infinity <br />Advertising for only those individuals named in the submitted application. Assured me <br />that individuals that did not present a valid driver's license, if witnessed driving, would <br />be tagge.d and towed. Chief Heckman also recommended that the City and the <br />Centennial Lakes Police Department be informed immediately of any and all individuals <br />participating in this activity that were not included in the original application. <br /> <br />Chief Heckman reported that Infinity Advertising was soliciting in the City of Lexington <br />on June 12, 2001 without a license. Deputy Chief Makela was handling this issue and <br />Chief Heckman had no further information. <br /> <br />Recommendation: Approve the Peddler/Solicitor's License for Infinity <br />Advertising for the period of June 28, 2001 to July 28, 2001 subject to payment of <br />the appropriate City Fees in the amount of $140 and that the City of Centerville be <br />notified immediately of any individual(s) not named in the application on file and <br />provided with the same information requested in the original application, this/these <br />individual(s) will also have a background check and be given written <br />approval/denial prior to any participation in this solicitation activity. <br />
