<br />Motion bv Council Member Nelson. seconded by Council Member Capra to <br />approve Resolution #01-006. Laurie LaMotte Memorial Park Improvements Grant <br />Application. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />5. Resolution #01-007 - Pheasant Marsh. <br /> <br />Mr. March explained Ground Development has requested the City finance its proposed <br />development through the 429 Process, and this Resolution is a Resolution to declare the <br />adequacy of the petition, and authorize the preparation ofa feasibility study. <br /> <br />City Attorney Hoeft noted he would be preparing a draft ofthe Developer's Agreement <br />for review. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Capra. seconded by Council Member Travis to approve <br />Resolution 01-007 as presented. AU in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />6. Residential Street Crack Filling. <br /> <br />Mr. Palzer explained he had received five (5) quotes for crack filling, noting the City is <br />on a program where it requests quotes for a three (3) year period to hedge off costs in the <br />future. The bids are based on 15,000 feet of crack filling. He then recommended <br />Council accept the bid from Allied Blacktop Company for 39 cents per lineal foot, for the <br />next three (3) years. <br /> <br />Mayor Swedberg questioned how the blacktop companies could afford to keep the prices <br />consistent for three (3) years based on the fluctuation in petroleum prices. Mr. March <br />noted it is surprising they are able to quote a price for a three (3) year period but stated it <br />appeared to be a good deal for the City. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Nelson. seconded bv Council Member Travis to accept <br />the bid of Allied Blacktop Company for years 2001-2003 for 15.000 feet of crack <br />flUinS! at 39 cents per lineal foot. All in favor. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />7. Additional Office Upgrade (StoragelPacket Preparation Area - Unit). <br /> <br />Mr. March noted Staffis in need of more storage and work surface for packet <br />preparation. He then noted Staff is requesting approval to purchase off the rack <br />residential cabinets with a countertop that public works will stain and varnish. Staff <br />anticipates these cabinets should cost approximately $600.00. <br /> <br />Motion by Council Member Nelson. seconded bv Council Member Capra to <br />approve Staffs request for cabinets and countertops in an amount not to exceed <br />$600.00.
